Communication Skills Training. CCAMMA and renowned language therapist Bonnie Gross co-hosted training course for advertising professionals helping members improve their social and business communication skills.

The 2nd CCAMMA Advertising Creative Awards & Annual Gala Dinner. More than 160 entries were received and 47 awards were presented. The first time mainstream advertising agency and associations, such as Institute of Canadian Advertising and Association of Canadian Advertisers, were invited and introduced to CCAMMA's members during the evening. The first time Vancouver advertising agencies were invited to showcase their portfolio via the coordination of VCAMMA. More than 350 people attended the event.

First showreel of the International Advertising Creative Awards was attended by more than 110 members and non-members from the Chinese-Canadian advertising industry. Members shared the latest trends and techniques in television advertising worldwide.
Nov 1994
Strategic alliance was established between AdNews, a mainstream daily on-line bulletin for advertising and marketing people, and CCAMMA. AdNews helped CCAMMA publish the association's monthly news page for circulation to its readers and CCAMMA members.

By-laws for CCAMMA were established. CCAMMA became a formally registered non-profit business association.

Annual election was hosted. John Leung was elected president.
1993
A focus group study was conducted by CCAMMA Executive Committee among 30 selected members from the advertising, marketing, media professionals and advertisers to help determine direction and position of CCAMMA.

The 1st CCAMMA Advertising Creative Awards was launched. More than 100 entries were filed with CCAMMA and 35 awards were presented during an evening gala event.

Allen Leung was elected president - the first media professional to take the CCAMMA presidential position.

Shirley Mok was elected president - the first woman president for CCAMMA.

Stephen Li was elected president.
1990
Cleve Lu was named president. CCAMA was renamed CCAMMA to include media professionals.
1989
Charles Li was elected president. Pakin Lee was later appointed president to replace Charles Li who returned to Hong Kong.

Godfrey Chan was elected president.
1987
CCAMA (Chinese Canadian Advertising & Marketing Association) was founded by Bill Lau for all Chinese advertising and marketing professionals in Canada.
